NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM)
Helping you Unleash the True You
Start to take agency over your life. If you’re seeking a transformational path towards healing, growth, and authentic self-discovery, NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Therapy might be the empowering solution you’ve been searching for.
What is NARM?
NARM Therapy sessions involve a combination of talk therapy and somatic (body-based) techniques. Clients are encouraged to become more aware of their present-moment experiences and sensations, identifying triggers, and recognizing patterns that may be rooted in early trauma. Through this process, individuals can gradually release pent-up emotions, develop self-compassion, and build healthier coping mechanisms.
How does NARM work?
The core premise of NARM is that unresolved developmental trauma can deeply impact an individual’s emotional, physical, and relational well-being. This trauma is often rooted in early childhood experiences and can create persistent patterns of dysfunction in adulthood, affecting how individuals relate to themselves and others.
Some key principles of NARM are: Regulation & Awareness, Recognizing Survival Strategies, Resolving Identity Distortions, and Honouring Boundaries & Connection.
